Casual warehouse operator

Role requirements:

    • Receiving, dispatching, unpacking and storage of goods and materials in accordance with appropriate procedures
    • Picking and packing of orders and stock transfers
    • Operate pallet jacks and manually lifting in accordance with the OH&S standards
    • General warehouse duties, including keeping the warehouse organised and tidy

What we require:

    • Physically fit and able to move large and heavy items
    • Excellent attention to detail, and good with systems
    • Basic computer skills
    • Team player
    • The ability to work in high-pressure situations

Warehouse Officer

BPC Technology is looking for a Warehouse Officer who will be responsible for performing various duties such as pallet picking, put away, and other production, shipping, inventory and receiving-related functions. The Warehouse Officer will operate all types of equipment, including but not limited to; forklifts and RF Scanners.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this rule requires detail-oriented, problem solvers who can think quantitatively and notice defects and errors quickly. Main responsibilities include:

Pick Orders

    • Pick orders and process them by completing any required paperwork.
    • Locating items in the warehouse, moving them to the processing and shipping area and scanning their barcode.
    • Retain knowledge of account requirements to prevent the occurrence of compliance failures.

Pack Orders

    • Pack orders and prepare them to be shipped.(Packer)
    • Inspect the items to ensure that they’re not damaged or missing any parts, package them according to specifications and transport them carefully as needed to bring them to despatch area.
    • Complete necessary paperwork & update relevant systems i.e.; Australia Post/ Fastway freight portal.

Receive Goods

    • Receive goods delivered to the warehouse for storage.
    • Unload the products from trucks.
    • Check to ensure the receipt matches the delivery documents such as shipping invoice or delivery note.
    • Verify that the goods are intact and report any defects.
    • Complete necessary paperwork & update relevant systems.

Maintain Inventory

    • Utilize RF equipment, accurate/damage-free movement of pallets and cases from reserve and forward pick locations in accordance with production standards.
    • Maintain warehouse inventory by arranging boxes and making sure they’re stored in a way they won’t be damaged.
    • Perform duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling operations and sorting.
    • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
    • Report any discrepancies.

Other Duties

    • Basic systems data entry & inquiry.
    • Move product and inventory using a forklift.
    • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
    • Execute and document quality inspections per SOP.
    • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
    • Use warehouse equipment/tools safely and in accordance with established procedures.
    • Report any unsafe conditions/equipment or injury to warehouse supervisors.

Qualifications

Requirements for the rule include:

    • Minimum of one (1) year of related experience in a warehouse environment.
    • Forklift license is a strong plus
    • Basic to intermediate level of literacy & numeracy
    • Ability to use various software including Excel & Word, Outlook (Email)
    • Ability to use local and global software SC programs
    • Familiarity with shipping software

Retail Store Sales Team Member

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for friendly and reliable team members to join our retail family at Mulgrave flagship store. The Retail Store Sales Team Member will be expected to perform a wide variety of tasks each day while focusing on providing WOW customer service.
You will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our valued customers. You will engage with customers, answer inquiries, assist with order pickups and service requests, and contribute to maintaining a clean and safe work environment. If you have a passion for customer service, possess some retail experience, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want you to join our team.

What you will be doing:

    • Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, focusing on creating a positive experience throughout their visit.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in using the point-of-sale (POS) system to ensure efficient and accurate transactions, following company guidelines.
    • Handle cash transactions according to standard cash handling procedures.
    • Communicate any issues or concerns to the leadership team promptly and with a sense of urgency.
    • Take initiative to support store operations, including operating equipment and assisting with company activities.
    • Continuously gain product knowledge and share information with customers and fellow team members.
    • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, restocking merchandise as needed.

You need to bring:

    • 2+ years of face-to-face customer service experience.
    • Fast learner with excellent time management skills.
    • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
    • Effective oral communication skills.
    • Strong focus on customer service and creating a positive customer experience.
    • Knowledge of current hardware components, including Motherboards, CPUs, Graphics cards, etc.
    • Attention to detail.

Physical Demands:

    • Ability to occasionally lift up to 10kg.
    • Comfortable with standing for long periods of time and performing repeated motions.
    • Frequent walking and standing required.

Commercial Account Executive / Business Development Manager

Who we’re looking for

This role will focus on growing the BPC commercial program through B2B sales outreach and meeting sales targets. You will implement strategies to prospect and close accounts.

What you will be doing:

    • Prospecting with past business customers to maximize repeat purchases.
    • Implementing outbound sales strategies to bring new business accounts to our business sales funnel.
    • Gathering business intelligence on prospects to support sales calls, drive new business, and close accounts.
    • Communicating with management to identify opportunities, plan resource allocation, and build a culture of results and accountability.
    • Recommending innovative and novel approaches to the sales process that will take BPC to the next level.
    • Align your product knowledge and expertise with our solutions.
    • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
    • Maintain accurate CRM information and opportunity tracking via our internal system.
    • Commitment to achieving individual and team KPIs.

You need to bring:

    • A born salesperson with an undeniable ability to connect with people.
    • At least three (3) years of experience in outside sales or B2B sales required.
    • A history of developing sales pipelines and a proven successful sales record.
    • Prior experience in the eCommerce industry preferred.
    • Prior experience selling IT related goods preferred.
    • Prior experience in multi-disciplinary sales preferred.
    • Able to adapt and change frequently and efficiently.

Computer Technician / System Builder (flexible hours)

Who we’re looking for

This role will focus on growing the BPC commercial program through B2B sales outreach and meeting sales targets. You will implement strategies to prospect and close accounts.

What you will be doing:

    • Providing user support by assisting with basic technical issues.
    • Communicating technical issues and solutions to technical and non-technical employees, system managers, and engineering experts.
    • Gathering needed information from users in order to create detailed support tickets.
    • Escalating critical customer situations to the appropriate level of management and engineering expertise.
    • Relaying customer feedback and suggestions to the appropriate internal departments.
    • Meeting deadlines for computer system builds and effectively managing order volume.
    • Building and servicing open-loop builds using a very high attention to detail, high quality and aesthetically pleasing loop building, and perfect cable management.
